Why is the Angel Capital Summit Different?
The Angel Capital Summit (“ACS”), hosted by the Rockies Venture Club, is a uniquely different and innovative summit bringing together angel and accredited Investors and Entrepreneurs whose business concepts are benchmarked for success.
By using The Benchmark Survey™, provided by the Entrepreneurial Standards Forum (www.ES2F.net), in the ACS process, entrepreneurs’ business concepts are evaluated against the "success path" metrics of previously successful companies. The results provide immediate insight into the strengths and weaknesses of the business concept. The entrepreneur then utilizes the business intelligence to re-evaluate and remedy any shortcomings of their business plan prior to their presentation resulting in investors seeing better qualified business presentations.
Many investors have established their own methods for investment evaluation, some of it subjective. That will never go away, nor should it. However, benchmarking for success delivers a high level of objectivity that enhances the entire evaluation process. Benchmarking thus becomes an enabling technology that makes use of relevant and valuable business intelligence never before available.
By Benchmarking for Success™, entrepreneurs gain deeper insight into their business and improve their business concept. Investors gain an additional tool to evaluate a business along side their personal expertise. In the end, Investors should see better presentations constructed on the merits of the business resulting in better investment evaluation and decisions.
It is what we do with the business intelligence prior to the ACS event that results in a sharper business model for the entrepreneur and a richer business presentation for the Investor.
Additionally, the data collected from this event will be presented in a “State of Entrepreneurship in Colorado” report immediately following the event. Real time data delivered in real time delivering real benefits.
