My wife and I went to 'Elk Fest' last night in Estes Park, CO. Listening to the elk bugle is apparently a course requirement for Surrealism 101 and my wife, being an artist, thought it good for me to go.

'Twas fun.

We had an hour and a half together in the car going both ways. Being me, I started singing. Being her, she corrected the lyrics. And then she started to talk to me about my need to learn new songs. She's right. Barry Manilow just doesn't cut it anymore. Not even Neil Diamond made her happy.
